By booking a service with Obsidian Detailing, I acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. Vehicle Condition & Pre-Existing Damage
I understand that Obsidian Detailing is not responsible for pre-existing scratches, dents, paint defects, faded trim, damaged upholstery, loose components, or other existing vehicle conditions. I understand that detailing may reveal imperfections that were not visible before service.
2. Cleaning Limitations
I understand that certain stains, odors, pet hair, embedded dirt, scratches, and other imperfections may not be completely removable. Results vary depending on the vehicle's condition, materials, and age. Additional labor or charges may apply if the vehicle requires work beyond the selected package, subject to customer approval.
3. Delicate Materials & Existing Defects
I understand that older, deteriorated, previously repaired, or damaged surfaces may be more susceptible to wear or damage during cleaning. Obsidian Detailing will use reasonable care when performing services and will communicate significant concerns when identified.
4. Paint Correction & Ceramic Coatings
I understand that paint correction may not remove every scratch or defect and that excessive correction can compromise clear-coat thickness. Ceramic coatings and other paint protection products require proper application and aftercare, and their durability may vary depending on maintenance and environmental conditions.
5. Personal Belongings
I agree to remove cash, valuables, weapons, sensitive documents, and other personal belongings before service. Obsidian Detailing is not responsible for unattended personal property except where responsibility is imposed by applicable law.
6. Service Authorization & Additional Charges
I authorize Obsidian Detailing to perform the service selected during booking. Any additional services or charges must be communicated and approved by me before the additional work is performed.
7. Appointment & Cancellation Policy
I acknowledge that any cancellation, rescheduling, or no-show policy disclosed during booking applies to my appointment, subject to applicable law.
8. Customer Acknowledgment
By checking the acknowledgment box and submitting my booking, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agreed to this disclaimer. I understand that this acknowledgment does not waive any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
